As part of the national momentum supporting Moroccan youth led by the Ministry of Youth, Culture and Communication to foster their skills in the field of esports, the tournaments are returning, on the sidelines of the 3rd edition of the Morocco Gaming Expo 2026, with the official opening of registrations.
Open to players and esports enthusiasts across the Kingdom, the tournament will feature competition on three major titles:
- Fortnite
- EA FC 26
- Valorant
Competition timeline:
- Registration opens: February 14, 2026
- Qualifier 1: March 2–8, 2026
- Qualifier 2: March 23–29, 2026
- Qualifier 3: April 13–19, 2026
- Play-in: May 2–3, 2026
- Finals: May 20–24, 2026
Finalists and winning players will have the opportunity to compete in Morocco’s largest arena, hosted within the Morocco Gaming Expo, at the Sofitel – Jardin des Roses in Rabat, from May 20 to 24, 2026.

Morocco Gaming Expo 2026 is set to reach a new milestone by welcoming, during its third edition taking place from May 20 to May 24, 2026, an internationally renowned figure as Guest of Honor; Erin Roberts, a veteran game developer with over 35 years of industry experience spanning iconic franchises and groundbreaking studios. His career began at Origin Systems in the early 1990s, where he designed and produced games in the legendary Wing Commander franchise. Following Electronic Arts‘ acquisition, he continued as Producer and Game Director, working on the SciFi Privateer series.
In 1996, Erin co-founded Digital Anvil in Austin, Texas, which was later acquired by Microsoft, where he managed projects for the Xbox Games group. Returning to the UK in 2005, he founded and directed AAA game development studios for over two decades, notably creating the highly successful Lego games for Traveller’s Tales and Warner Bros.
For the past 13 years, Erin has served as Chief Development Officer at Cloud Imperium Games, where he established the UK studio and led its expansion to over 600 employees. He currently oversees development across CIG’s four global studios, managing a team of more than 800 developers worldwide and leading production on the ambitious Star Citizen and Squadron 42 projects.
