On the occasion of the official launch of the 2026–2027 training year, the Office of Vocational Training and Labour Promotion (OFPPT) continues to adapt its training offer to evolving professions and the skills needs of future-oriented sectors, particularly in the field of the gaming industry.

In this context, the gaming industry is among the high-potential sectors taken into account in the development of the vocational training offer, alongside areas such as cybersecurity and the green economy.

This momentum is part of the ongoing efforts led by the Ministry of Youth, Culture and Communication, in partnership with OFPPT, to support the development of Morocco’s national gaming industry ecosystem and address the growing demand for specialised skills.

As part of this collaboration, OFPPT has developed specialised certification programmes dedicated to gaming-related professions, including the “Esports Caster” and “Gaming Streamer” programmes. These initiatives contribute to the professionalisation of emerging professions within the video game and esports ecosystem.

By renewing its training offer and integrating the sector’s needs among those of high-potential emerging industries, OFPPT contributes to strengthening Morocco’s national talent pool and supporting the country’s ambitions for the development of the gaming industry.
