Morocco’s gaming industry continues to evolve, driven by new technologies, emerging talent and new opportunities. Technologies are changing, business models are transforming, and studios and developers must constantly keep up with new trends, understand emerging challenges and seize new opportunities.
It is within this dynamic context that the Ministry of Youth, Culture and Communication – Communication Department is launching “MGI Talks Thursdays”, a new monthly gathering dedicated to dialogue and knowledge-sharing around the gaming industry.
The MGI Talks bring together studios, developers, young talents, experts and various ecosystem stakeholders to discuss concrete topics shaping the future of the sector.
Throughout the different sessions, discussions will cover a wide range of topics, including game engines, generative artificial intelligence, cloud gaming, virtual and augmented reality, intellectual property, contracting, taxation, as well as funding and support mechanisms.
Each session will provide an opportunity to explore a specific topic, discover new perspectives and gain a better understanding of the opportunities and challenges linked to the development of Morocco’s gaming industry.
With this new gathering, MGI Talks is establishing itself as a regular space for discussion for those who create, develop and build the future of the gaming industry.
