The Minister of Youth, Culture and Communication has received representatives of Moroccan video game development studios who will represent the Kingdom of Morocco at the largest European event dedicated to the gaming industry, to be held from August 26 to 30, 2026, in Germany.
This meeting has been an opportunity to commend the dynamism and expertise of Moroccan talents, as well as to reaffirm the Ministry’s support for the development of the national gaming industry. The Minister has also encouraged the participating studios to showcase the excellence of Moroccan creation, promote the Kingdom’s potential among key international stakeholders, and seize this opportunity to develop strategic partnerships, attract investment, and strengthen Morocco’s presence on the global gaming indsutry stage. Morocco’s participation in this major event is part of the implementation of the gaming industry development strategy, which aims to position the Kingdom as a leading regional hub in Africa and the MENA region.
